Since the 1980’s Industrial Rope Access Techniques have developed into a global industry providing a proven method of safe work positioning at height and in areas of difficult access. Often used for window cleaning, facade cleaning and for general light maintenance tasks, Industrial Rope Access Techniques can eliminate the need for scaffolding and other access plant and machinery, thus reducing costs and disruption, whilst providing a safe means of access.

Generally integrated within the structure of a building, we suggest our involvement early in the overall design process.
Single Point Anchors
- Conventional eyebolts – available in galvanized or stainless steel.
- Bespoke Designed Anchorages - available in galvanized or stainless steel designed to interface with the building fabric.
Abseil Rails
Gravity Solutions Limited offer both proprietary and bespoke rail systems depending upon the application. Rails may be integrated within a soffit, fixed to vertical surfaces or cantilevered from or over parapet up stands.
Proprietry Track System
A rigid horizontal enclosed track and trolley system which incorporates bends and deviations where required thus allowing personnel to traverse the system safely via mobile travelling trolley units without the need to disconnect from the system.
Tracks are available in several section sizes allowing varying fixing centres dependent on available structure to which to fix.
Produced in mild steel with zinc plated or galvanized finish as standard, the system may be polyester powder coated if required.
Bespoke Rails
Bespoke rails may be designed to suit virtually any application for both primary abseil anchors and abseil rope deviation rails. Produced in galvanised steel, stainless steel or aluminium with polyester powder coating as an option.
Davits
Davit arms for use in conjunction with bases that are strategically placed on areas of a building above required access zones. The bases are permanently fixed to the structure and are designed to allow the davit to connect and thus provide industrial roped access anchorage points. Once works are complete the davit may be removed and fixed to an adjacent davit base or simply stored for future use.
The bases are of a bespoke design to suit the particular application and construction detail and may be fixed in a variety of ways. The davits themselves are available in mild steel galvanized or aluminium for lighter weight and ease of handling.
The davit system is particularly useful for use on stepped buildings with multiple levels of terraces or balconies.
