The use of fall protection systems requires appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to be specifically selected for use with each individual system. Gravity Solutions Limited offer PPE, with each system that we install, with all items conforming to European legislative requirements as a minimum. Items of PPE are supplied with comprehensive instructions.
Fall Protection systems generally require the use of some or all of the following items:
- Full body harness
- Transfastener
- Shock absorbing lanyard
- Retractable lanyard
- Safety rope and grab unit
- Connector
In addition to the end user examining PPE prior to use it is a requirement that all items of PPE are examined by a competent person on an annual basis.
