Latchways ManSafe® systems may be specified to overcome the difficulties of ensuring safety at height for people working on inclined surfaces.
For applications where the incline is between 15° and 90° from the horizontal, attachment to the ManSafe® system cable is made by means of the special ClimbLatch unit, which will immediately lock onto the system cable and arrest the fall.
The ClimbLatch unit will operate on both inclined and horizontal systems and so prevents the need for a worker to change attachments when moving from an inclined section to the horizontal and can be extended to include vertical sections.
Inclined systems may be fixed to a wide variety of structures and roof types including:

- built-up-on-site
- standing-seam
- secret-fix
- membrane
- steel
- concrete
The unique Latchways ClimbLatch unit allows travel of the full length of the system and passes intermediate and deviation componentry without the need to detach and re-attach from the system.
