ManSafe® systems for vertical use provide outstanding personal safety for individuals working on any type of vertical application. The systems may be fixed to access ladders, towers and structures alike and can be installed to follow the contours of the structure so as to maximise their safety value in a working environment.
Once attached to the system, the LadderLatch or ClimbLatch unit allows hands free operation thus allowing both hands free for climbing. In the event that a worker should fall, the LadderLatch or ClimbLatch unit will immediately lock onto the system cable and arrest the fall. In such an event, the energy absorbers built into the system protect the end anchors by limiting the loads placed upon the anchors to a maximum of 6 kN.
Mansafe® systems for vertical use are suitable for retrofitting or as part of a new build. The systems, being unobtrusive and lightweight, are suitable to be installed for use in virtually all environments and can be integrated into a comprehensive system incorporating vertical, inclined and horizontal sections.
